Occupational Hazard: The First Coral Reefers

Directed by John H. Cunningham

FilmDrops says

Narrated by Jeff Bridges, is a feature documentary chronicling the origins of Jimmy Buffett’s original Coral Reefer Band.

It explores their evolution from dusty road gigs to creating a signature sound, marked by a "heavy artillery" party lifestyle and early 1970s rawness that eventually required major changes to ensure success. Official Selection 2026 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
