FilmDrops says

When the revelation of family secrets throws their lives into chaos, two single parents—one Japanese-American, one Jewish-American, both descendants of concentration camp survivors—must confront the inherited trauma shaping their present.

Their parallel searches for healing converge at Isamu Noguchi's California Scenario, where they glimpse who they might become.
