Naomi Ball
Naomi is a documentary filmmaker known for sensitive, character-led stories that entertain and drive change. A Queer woman with a background working in the NGO sector, she has a passion for films that amplify underrepresented voices and call for social and environmental justice. Her Screen Australia funded short Who I Am (2022) screened internationally, released on streaming platforms, and earned her a Best Director nomination at the Australian Directors Guild Awards. She directed Searching for the Tassie Tiger (2021), reaching 3.5M views on VICE YouTube and broadcasting on SBS Viceland. In 2023 she led the impact campaign for Rachel's Farm and is currently working as Impact Producer on Sukundimi Walks Before Me.
