Leah Vlemmiks is a self-taught Canadian-British writer, director and producer. Her films have screened at SXSW, Rhode Island International Film Festival, Raindance, UKMVAs, 1.4, HBO Urbanworld, and won awards at the BAFTA-qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival (UK), WIFT, Shiny, and the Prism Prize Top 10. Leah is developing two short films set in the UK alongside her debut feature, GOSWINA, which explores similar themes as AGNES. GOSWINA is currently in development as a UK–Canada co-production with award-winning producer Ryan Bobkin (Blue Heron, Infinity Pool, Shook) and support from Canada Council for the Arts and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
