Based in Warsaw, Helena Ganjalyan is a multi-disciplinary director and screenwriter with a background in acting, theater direction, choreography, and photography. A graduate of the Academy of Theater Arts St. Wyspianski in Krakow, Helena brings a unique blend of theatrical and visual sensibilities to her filmmaking.
Her creative process is marked by meticulous attention to detail, a deep sense of atmosphere, and a search for the extraordinary within the everyday. Whether working in film, commercials, or music videos, she seeks to tell human-centered stories—both realistic and abstract—with emotional depth and visual precision.
Glorious Summer, co-directed with Bartosz Szpak, is her debut feature film.
