Elizabeth Olsen was most recently seen in “His Three Daughters,” alongside Carrie Coon and Natasha Lyonne. The film, written and directed by Azazel Jacobs, first premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 9, 2023, and was subsequently acquired by Netflix for global distribution. “His Three Daughters” was released in select theaters on September 6, 2024 and will be available on the streaming platform on September 20, 2024. Additionally, Olsen will star alongside Alicia Vikander in Fleur Fortuné’s directorial debut, “The Assessment,” which premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.
Most recently, Olsen completed production opposite Miles Teller and Callum Turner in the A24 romantic comedy, “Eternity,” in which she also serves as an executive producer. Olsen is also set to star in Todd Solondz’s next film, “Love Child” with Charles Melton. Last year, Olsen starred in Max’s “Love and Death,” as the infamous Texas housewife “Candy Montgomery.” The series, directed by Lesli Linka Glatter and written by David E. Kelley, first premiered at the SXSW Film Festival on March 31, 2023 and premiered on the streaming service on April 27, 2023. Olsen was nominated for a 2024 Golden Globe Award in the category of ‘Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Limited Series, Anthology Series or Motion Picture Made for Television’ on behalf of her performance.
Additionally, Olsen and Robbie Arnett released their debut children's book Hattie Harmony: Worry Detective on June 28, 2022, by Penguin Random House. The book became the #1 Children’s Picture Book on the New York Times Best Sellers list in the first week of release. The book’s sequel, Hattie Harmony: Opening Night, was released on June 13, 2023.
In 2022, Olsen reprised her role as the Scarlet Witch in Marvel’s “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” which released globally on May 6, 2022 and earned $880,051,046 in the global box office. This film continued the storyline of her character's journey from the first-ever Marvel Studios’ television series “WandaVision,” in which she earned an Emmy and Critics Choice Award nomination. The series debuted on January 15, 2021 on Disney+, and quickly garnered worldwide acclaim among audiences and critics alike – marking the series as the most-watched show of any title across all major streaming platforms in January 2021, as well as the highest-rated film or TV series in the MCU universe to date, according to Rotten Tomatoes.
Olsen originally appeared as Scarlet Witch in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” on May 1, 2015, which went on to earn $1,398,752,317 worldwide. She subsequently appeared in:

She helped kick off the Classic Stage Company’s Fall 2013-2014 season as the lead role, Juliet, in the Off Broadway play, “Romeo and Juliet.” Other workshops include “Bottom of the World” by Lucy Thurber (Atlantic Theatre Company), and “The Living Newspaper” (DRD Theatricals).
Further, Olsen is a dedicated volunteer at the Stuart House: Rape Treatment Center, which provides expert comprehensive services for victims of rape, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse, including specialized medical care, forensic services, crisis counseling and longer-term psychotherapy, advocacy, and other forms of support. The center also provides prevention education programs, professional training for law enforcement personnel, medical personnel and school personnel, and advocacy for needed policy rape, sexual assault, and child sexual abuse, including specialized medical care, forensic services, crisis counseling and longer-term psychotherapy, advocacy, and other forms of support.
Olsen is a graduate from New York University’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts and has had formal training at Atlantic Acting School and Moscow Art Theatre School.
